Still Life Update!
It’s been a hectic couple months, and I’ve been too busy to pause and look for inspiration around me. Well, despite the stress and ups and downs Ryan and I have been experiencing as we decide on our futures, one thing that’s kept me sane and upbeat is knitting. I discovered knitting several years ago while we were on a trip to Ashland, OR for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and I fell in love with the challenge of learning something new and creating something beautiful from my efforts.
Later on, I found photography and neglected knitting as I became obsessed with technique and composition. But, while I recently rarely have time for long photography outings, I do have time to knit at night to calm my thoughts. Here are a couple of photos that really show some of my passions: photography and knitting!
The most hectic part of this year is almost at an end! Gotta pull through these next few days and then I can really concentrate on developing my knitting and film photography skills. Stay tuned!
