Knitting: Swirly O Socks, Finally Finished!
I finally finished this pair of socks! It took me quite a while as it was my first real pair of socks and I had been studying for the Patent Bar. I passed my test, and commemorated by finishing up this pair :) It was fun to knit, but I really, really disliked the short row heel. I’d make this again with a regular heel flap and gusset and it’ll be great.
This project made me realize how much I love knitting socks — they’re small projects, easy to carry around, and have pattern repeats that I can memorize. Awesome! The only thing more fun than knitting these was wearing them. They were warm, soft, and felt so nice.
