Knitting: Northumbria Cowl + Rasta Neckwarmer

Oh man, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted! February was such a hectic month — after finally being able to relax after the stressful Patent Bar Exam, I spent my time looking for apartments. Ryan and I found one earlier than expected, and with immediate move-in, so we jumped on it. This past weekend was so incredibly hectic with packing, moving and unpacking that I only could finish a project and post now. So whew!

Here’s the Northumbria Cowl from Knitscene Fall 2010. This little project was nice and easy and as it was knitted in the round, perfect for knitting with the TV. It turned out well in the Madelinetosh Pashmina (I splurged, omg), and is so fun to wear! It’s my first cowl and I was incredibly excited to wear it to Stitches West.

I also finished Lucy’s Brambles Beret, which is blocking right now. I’ll post on it when it’s ready :)

Here also is the Malabrigo Rasta, destined to be my next big, thick cowl for the really cold mornings. So far an easy knit and fun to work with :)
